1. OUR SOCİAL RESPONSİBİLİTY
At Sabah Bedding, we place great value on social responsibility at every stage of our operations. We embrace an approach of social benefit that respects universal human rights for the communities impacted by our products or services.
In line with our commitment to contribute to social development in countries, we aim to provide meaningful, equitable, and inclusive social benefits. We are dedicated to carrying out our social responsibility practices with respect for human rights, in alignment with the principles of sustainability, transparency, and inclusiveness.
The strategic partnerships and social interactions we establish with the aim of creating social benefit reflect Sabah Bedding's investments in environmental and social issues. Human rights are a cornerstone of our ethical values, and through our social responsibility activities, we guide our stakeholders to act in alignment with socially beneficial principles. We also develop and support tailored approaches to foster social benefit awareness among our customers and suppliers.
To ensure that our employees and the communities in our areas of operation have a healthy and safe working environment, we continuously improve our occupational health and safety practices through risk plans, regular training, and awareness activities. We provide the necessary resources for our employees to maintain their physical and mental health while implementing pre-planned safety measures.
We consider it an unwavering sustainability principle to maintain constant communication with our employees, regularly share relevant matters with them, and create fair, healthy, and safe working environments where they can freely express their views through a participatory approach.
Guided by the UN Global Compact (UNGC) (2000) and the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) (1948), we approach our employees, all stakeholders, and all individuals affected by our products and services with a human rights understanding that upholds dignity.
Our Human Rights Policy is effectively implemented throughout our entire value chain in alignment with our corporate policies and values. Our practices are carried out with reference to the Sabah Bedding Human Rights Policy, Code of Business Ethics Handbook, and Discipline Management Procedure. Both our employees and managers are responsible for adhering to our human rights policy in the regions where we operate, as well as diligently applying and supporting Sabah Bedding’s relevant procedures.
We expect all our stakeholders and entities within our value chain to act in accordance with the principles and guidelines outlined in our human rights policy and take necessary measures to ensure this. At Sabah Bedding, we manage all subcontractor employees providing services such as security, cleaning, and catering in alignment with our code of business ethics and human rights policy. Additionally, we actively inform them about our human resources practices through regular meetings focused on human rights, occupational health and safety, and business ethics.

We promote voluntary participation in socially beneficial activities driven by a sense of social responsibility. With the steps we take in this direction, as one of the leading companies in our sector, we implement sustainable and transparent human resources policies that respect the rights of our employees.
· Sabah Bedding respects the rights of employees to organize and unionize. The company in no way hinders employees' right to form or join a union and does not interfere in these processes.
· We strictly prohibit any form of forced labor, compulsory labor, or child labor, whether directly or through subcontractors.
· We do not tolerate any form of discrimination or mobbing during recruitment processes, throughout employment, or when the employment relationship ends.
· We make recruitment and promotion decisions objectively, based on the individual's qualifications, skills required for the job, and performance.

4. GUİDANCE AND REPORTİNG
· We strive to create a workplace where open and honest communication is valued and respected among all employees.
· Sabah Bedding is committed to complying with applicable labor and employment laws wherever we operate. Sabah Bedding also ensures that employees are informed of the Human Rights Policy through training and an annual certification process.
· Any employee who believes there is a conflict between the language of the policy and the laws, customs, or practices of the location where they work, has questions about the policy, or wishes to confidentially report a potential violation of the policy should direct their questions and concerns to Human Resources or the Ethics Manager. Employees may also report suspected policy violations by emailing surdurulebilirlik@sabahbedding.com or calling 0212 655 5976. No retaliation or adverse action will be taken against any employee who reports concerns under this policy. The company will investigate employees' concerns, respond to them, and take appropriate corrective actions in response to any violations.
